About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Lead Capital Markets Accountant to serve as a technical accounting authority within the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Controller team. This role will be dynamic across broad CIB activities, including advisory, underwriting, secondary trading, structured products, equities, loans, and other broker‑dealer activities. In addition, this position will help support the accounting and regulatory oversight for Wells Fargo Securities, LLC and other broker-dealer consolidated subsidiaries. As the organization continues to expand with complex product activity and strategic initiatives, this role will be instrumental in shaping accounting conclusions, policy interpretations, and regulatory outcomes. This individual contributor role is designed for an experienced professional seeking deep technical ownership, complex transaction exposure, and sustained influence within a large capital markets platform.
