Remote Processing Station Operator

Job description

Purpose and Scope: Responsible for all Remote Station Operations (RPS) for Global Prepositioned Materiel Services (GPMS) PACAF support. Ensures all required computer listings and reports are available for all of the Area of Responsibility (AOR) locations. Monitors Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) terminals at assigned location and all AOR locations for proper operation. Develops local software programs to satisfy special processing and reports requirements to automate manual processes and to produce more user-friendly management reports. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). Essential Responsibilities: Prepares schedules for processing reports and listings at assigned site and AOR Locations as required. Writes and debugs programs to satisfy special project requirements. Writes and processes Query Language Programs (QLP) for reports and listings not available through established standard reports. Develops and maintains Microsoft Access database applications supporting special project requirements.
