Job description

Main Function: Participates in providing medical leadership and direction in the operation and expansion of the Occupational Health programs. Responsible for the medical care rendered to patients. Participates in the development and implementation of Occupational Health programs and medical services. Responsibilities: - Communicates with medical, nursing and associate staff to accomplish departmental goals and objectives. - Leadership of all areas of Occupational Medicine practice operations, unifying clinicians and staff toward shared goals. - Promotes effective utilization of resources to maximize departmental function and performance. - The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to collect data relative to the patients’ status and age, and tailor patient care relative to age-specific needs. - Fosters educational opportunities, staff selection and hiring, coaching and professional discipline.
