Machine Operator- Day Shift

Description Set up and operate fabricating machines, according to designs and specifications. Available shifts: Day shift 6:00am-4:30pm Evening shift 4:30pm-3:00am: Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities: - Read and interpret drawings and cut lists. - Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as laser, punch press, brake press, shears, flame cutters, and saws. - Read tape measures and calipers - Record and monitor material usage. - Follow all established quality guidelines. - Follow all established safety guidelines. - Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Requirements: This position is located in Tea, SD. - Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders, and saws safely. - Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions. - Ability to read and comprehend instructions. - Ability to review designs and drawings (blueprints). - Strong attention to detail in measurements and design specifics. - Requires good judgment, and ability to work with others and perform other tasks as assigned. - Previous work with structural steel and sheet metal. - Experience operating a forklift.
