Overview Salary Range: $38,934-$58,293: Position Summary: The Customer Service Coordinator manages Air and Ocean Import or Export shipments ensuring effective customer service, accurate shipment processing, timely deliveries and troubleshooting errors. The position is located in either the Import or Export department of “super” or “large” sized branches in the International Division of YLA. Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Team member responsible for the accurate and timely submission of customs entries for clearance of in-bound cargo through US Customs and facilitating the delivery of freight to customers. - Follow SOPS for each customer on the correct method and data required for preparing an entry. - Track and trace shipments and coordinate with steamship lines, freight forwarders and CFS on the availability of imported shipments - Arrange with trucking companies the pick-up and delivery of freight - Organize the work area to identify the status of every file through every phase of the CBP entry process. - Act as the primary point of customer contact in the assigned account: - Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all intern...
