Department Overview OHSU HEALTH at Hillsboro Medical Center The OHSU Department of Neurology is seeking a full-time physician to join our thriving and growing team at Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC). HMC is a traditional community department and located on the west side of Portland/Hillsboro with a growing population. The Dept of Neurology serves a diverse patient population. HMC is a Nationally recoginized stroke center by the American Stroke Association and also features a cardiac catheterization lab, providing comprehensive care to the surrounding region. Many OHSU Marquam Hill departments now provide specialty services on-site, creating a unique blend of academic and community services. The department has a dedicated team of physicians and advanced practice providers (APP) serving the patient population, primarily treating the following: - Migraines and Headaches - Stroke - Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease - Epilepsy - Neuropathy - Multiple Sclerosis - Parkinson’s disease and tremors Function/Duties of Position: Clinical Responsibilities include 9 outpatient sessions per week for general neurology services at the Hillsboro Medical Clinic location.
