Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: RO Glen Mills - Glen Mills, PA 19342Position Type: Per DiemEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: Day ShiftJob Summary: The Surgery Scheduler makes, schedules, and communicates surgery appointments for patients in an efficient and timely manner. Key Accountabilities: Excellence in service to a variety of customers, including our patients, physicians, partner departments, and external stakeholders. Administrative accuracy and attention to detail in scheduling, and team communication. Schedulers must maintain a KPI of cases scheduled per week. Responsibilities: Greets and registers patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner. Verifies necessary information: demographics/Insurance/ Primary Care Physician, Procedure and laterality. Schedules and coordinates patients’ surgical appointments for all participating locations and non-surgical related diagnostic studies including, but not limited to Epidural Steroid Injections and EMG Testing.
