Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Medical Assistant/Scheduling Assistant Location: Chicago, IL: Full Time, 40 hours: Hours: M-F, 8-hour shifts between 7a-6pm Required Travel: Yes, travel to cover at Tapestry and Asian Human Services locations. What you will do: Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Swedish Hospital and demonstrates a service orientation and adheres to all responsibilities and standards of the Swedish Medical Group. Greets patients providing a high level of customer service and answers telephone referrals/inquiries. Prepares patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room; provides exam gowns and drapes; helps to position patient for the examination and/or treatment; arranges exam room instruments, supplies, and equipment. Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviews and/or records medical his-tory; takes vital signs; confirms purpose of visit or treatment.
