You can look forward to: Job Summary: - Manages and mentors the facultative underwriting team, provides sound underwriting judgment in co-signing and evaluating large (> $10 million) facultative risks. Serves as the primary facultative client contact and works directly with clients to address their issues/concerns. Subject matter expert for the Ascent underwriting manual for the U.S., partnering closely with the medical director, chief underwriter, and other key stakeholders to support updates to existing conditions and the development of new content. Essential Functions: - (45%) Manages the facultative underwriting team and contractors, including workflow, staff development, and establishing individual and team goals and standards.
