GARNEY CONSTRUCTION An Estimator position is available at Garney. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our growing Estimating Team. To be considered for this position, you must have previous estimating experience, preferably in the water, wastewater, or industrial markets. Candidates with proven experience estimating heavy civil earthwork, cast-in-place concrete structures, underground yard piping, and/or above-grade process piping systems. Estimating experience with at-risk self-performing contracts is preferred over construction manager at-risk delivery methods. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: - Preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment projects. - Review project documents, plans, specifications, and addenda completely and accurately. - Analyzing and compiling estimate data that impacts the cost of labor, materials, equipment requirements, location, and other factors. - Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. - Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals. - Developing and maintaining...
