Responsibilities: - Ensures food preparation is in accordance with planned menus and in sufficient quantities - Ensures food is properly stored and the proper temperature is maintained in hot and cold food items - Inspects work areas daily to ensure they are kept well organized and clean including store room, refrigerators, freezers, service areas and dining rooms - Ensures food is handled in a sanitary manner, including receipt, preparation, and storage, including checking food temperature log daily to ensure appropriate temperature is maintained and logged in accordance with health regulations - Check equipment daily to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation techniques are followed - Notify the Food Service Supervisor and issue work orders for repairs or replacement when necessary - Assist Supervisor with ordering, stocking, and inventory as needed - As ne...
