Position: Maintenance Technician Lawrence, Kansas Gaines Investment Trust is building our team and looking to connect with a Maintenance Technician to support our apartment community in Lawrence, Kansas. Compensation: - $18 – $22 per hour based on experience - Monthly performance bonuses What You Will Do: - Complete routine and corrective maintenance in apartment homes and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry - Respond to service requests in a timely, professional, and resident-focused manner - Assist with apartment turns, including painting, repairs, and general preparation for new move-ins - Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections - Maintain the appearance of the community by assisting with grounds and common area upkeep - Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies - Communicate effectively with residents, office staff, and supervisors What You Will Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience - Prior multifamily maintenance experience preferred - Hands-on experience in maintenance, construction, facilities, HVAC, or mechanical work - EPA certification preferred - HVAC certif...
