Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer, located in Sparks, Nevada. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and lead development of complex mechanical systems and equipment, acting as a technical lead to support project execution, engineering excellence, and team development. Job Duties: - Design and analyze complex mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging; identify problem areas and propose operational solutions for projects and tasks that are interdependent in nature. - Conduct feasibility studies and testing of new designs and modifications to existing designs. - Apply engineering principles including fluid and solid mechanics, mass transfer, thermodynamics, and control systems to develop experiments and interpret results. - Ensure device design, component selection, manufacturability, and test methods meet project scope, technical requirements, and budget constraints. - Generate statements of work, manufacturing assembly procedures, work instructions, operator manuals, user manuals, and other technical documentation. - Document designs using drawings, specifications, and material lists. - Ensure all engine...
