Overview Legacy Health is seeking a dual-trained neurovascular neurosurgeon to join its growing Department of Neurosurgery in Portland, Oregon. Successful candidates will be able to deliver the full spectrum of vascular neurosurgical care, from emergency stroke intervention and aneurysm treatment to elective complex cerebrovascular procedures. The surgeon will participate in the call rotation for emergency neurovascular cases, perform open vascular and endovascular / neurointerventional procedures, collaborate with the existing neurosurgery team on complex cases requiring vascular expertise, and maintain an outpatient elective practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a well-established practice with a strong referral network and robust support from the health system, hospital, and surrounding community. Responsibilities: - Provides adult and ED call coverage. Be available for STAT consultation at bedside within 30 minutes. - Provides outpatient follow-up for patients seen in ED. - Reasonable participation in outreach/education to referring hospitals and providers.
