Job description
Job Purpose Manage, order, and process indirect purchase orders for equipment spare parts, operational supplies, and other goods and services required for daily plant operations. Organize and maintain both physical inventory and inventory systems. Essential Functions: Procurement & Vendor Management: - Order, track, and manage purchase orders for maintenance supplies and parts - Ensure proper coding to correct GL accounts - Research and identify alternative suppliers for improved quality and cost - Collaborate with vendors on supply capabilities, logistics, and delivery terms - Notify Maintenance Manager of overdue materials impacting repair timelines Inventory Management: - Maintain accurate inventory records in CMMS - Record materials received, stocked, and issued - Conduct cycle counts and year-end inventory audits - Ensure proper stocking of spare parts Parts Room Operations: - Organize and maintain parts room for efficient storage and retrieval - Oversee issuing and return of parts and materials - Maintain cleanliness and organization (housekeeping) Inspection & Quality Control: - Inspect incoming tools and parts for damage or discrepancies - Verify part numbers and documentat...
