POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounting Manager is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the Accounting Department at RH Community Builders. This position provides direct oversight of accounting staff, ensures adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), nonprofit financial regulations, and applicable federal and state compliance requirements. The Accounting Manager plays a key role in maintaining the fiscal integrity of the organization by developing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls, policies, and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: ● Oversees day-to-day accounting operations and department workflow ● Ensure accurate, timely processing of transactions and invoicing ● Manages AP, AR, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and general ledger processes ● Direct supervision of accounting staff; workflow management; training and coaching ● Executes and manages close process, reconciliations, journal entries ● Oversees monthly invoicing to funders, contract billing, and supporting documentation ● Prepares internal financial schedules and supporting docu...
