Position Summary: Stern College for Women is seeking adjunct instructors for a variety of academic departments in our midtown Manhattan location. Courses are offered in fall and spring semesters. Position Responsibilities: Teach up to two undergraduate courses in-person up to twice a week, in one or more of the following areas: - Art History and Studio Arts - Biology - Chemistry - Computer Science - Economics - English - History - Jewish Studies - Mathematics - Philosophy - Physics - Political Science - Psychology - Sociology - Speech Pathology & Audiology - Statistics Other position responsibilities: - Administration of all exams - Grade all exams and assignments by university deadlines - Meet and mentor students Experience & Educational Background: - Graduate-level degree in a related field - Experience teaching undergraduate students preferred Skills & Competencies: Experience teaching undergraduate students Application Instructions: CV, cover letter, and 2 references and their contact information, or 2 letters of reference.
