Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support our tax department. The intern will assist with tax preparation, research, data analysis, and administrative tasks while gaining hands-on experience in corporate tax and tax accounting functions. - Assist with preparation of federal, provincial/state, and local tax filings - Organize and review financial records and tax documentation - Support tax staff with data entry and reconciliation tasks - Conduct basic tax research using internal and external resources - Help prepare working papers and audit support schedules - Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems - Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives - Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies - Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively...
