Job Posting End Date 05-22-2026 Please note the job posting will close on the day before the posting end date Job Summary: Responsible for providing assistance to support the accomplishment of welding related maintenance of plant equipment and facilities while concurrently participating in any prescribed training and/or qualifications identified as prerequisites for advancement to the position of Welder B. This is an entry level position. Please Note: This position is posted in a range, and an offer will be made based on the candidate's qualifications. Job Description: What You'll Do: - Maintain plant equipment while utilizing a working knowledge of hand tools and portable power tools and their correct usage. - Layout simple figures on flat surfaces and utilize a working knowledge of basic measuring tools such as rules, scales, straight edges, dividers, squares, and protractors. - Calculate areas, volumes, weights, etc. and comprehend moderately complex written material such as procedures, instructions, and technical manuals. - Interpret simple blueprints, diagrams, drawings, flow prints, etc. to maintain equipment in the plant. - Prepare and maintain records as required.
