Position Title : Course Lecturer: Sleep Mechanisms and Behaviour (PSYC 444) Department: Department of Psychology, McGill University Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 – Dec 04) Schedule: Monday/Wednesday 2:35-3:55: Location: STBIO S1/4: Credits for course: 3: Salary: $11,824: Job Summary: The Department of Psychology is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Sleep Mechanisms and Behaviour (PSYC 444) during the Fall 2026 term. This course material to be covered is basic biological mechanisms, possible functions and behavioural aspects of sleep, their effects on behaviour and cognition, and treatment approaches; as well as medical, neurological and psychiatric disorders, and drugs that affect sleep.
