Site Materials Specialist

Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Site Materials Specialist to join our team in our Off Site Office. The Site Materials Specialist is tasked to learn and understand the purpose for materials within governmental, state, and environmental via compliance with project application. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Checks the accuracy and application appropriateness of requested material. - Supports bulk orderings in Spring and Fall by creating Purchase Requisitions and tracking Purchase Orders. - Participates in inventory assessment of materials needed. - Accurately completes, files, and maintains required governmental, SOX, and environmental data. - Inspect the materials onsite for leakage or fumes and advise correct chain of command for replacements or sent back to vendor. - Using field screening equipment and documenting readings. - Interacting and communicating daily with contractors, field technicians, and project managers. - Sampling, testing, and inspecting soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement.
