Classification Title: Industrial Controls Tech - N Classification Minimum Requirements: - High school diploma - One (1) year of appropriate experience Job Description: Skillfully use field knowledge combined with the necessary tools, equipment, meters, and computers to install, operate, and/or adjust pneumatic and digital automation and control system controllers with their associated components (sensors, actuators, relays, transducers, valves, variable frequency drives, controllers, etc.) both connected to a network or “stand alone” for, but not limited to, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); heating hot water; chilled water; steam; etc.; to maintain an energy efficient, safe, and comfortable environment in laboratories, offices, classrooms, etc. Install control panels and sensors: Assist other tradesmen in complex work projects or special assignments Ensure proper care in safe use and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment. Ensure employee and vendors comply with safety guidelines. Complete work assignments, ensuring compliance with standards.
