Senior Product Engineer - Gate Valve

Job description

This position can be located in Houston, Texas or Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Key Position Functions: - Support and maintain the standard Stream-Flo Industries Gate Valve product lines. - Coordinate and execute on new product line design and development. - Create design file, engineering bulletin for Stream-Flo Industries Gate Valve product lines. - Create and maintain engineering standards. - Prepare detailed drawings of parts, assemblies and related items. - Perform diverse engineering activities involving product evolution and design. - Support project personnel for specific phases or aspects of projects such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans and product testing. - Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, industry standards, customer requirements and related specifications. - Provide necessary calculations required on new and existing products. - Provide engineering production support to machining, welding, assembly and other departments. - Provide technical support for field service, the customer, sales and manufacturing. - Evaluate and report on new materials, technology and techni...
