Job DetailsJob Location: CRC - Wheeling, IL 60090Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 Hourly Job Title: Camp Counselor - Morning Care Job Status: Part Time – Non-Exempt Department: Recreation: Primary Work Location: Community Recreation Center Reports To: Recreation Services Manager - Youth Supervisory Responsibility: None: Position Summary: The Morning Care Camp Counselor supervises campers and assists in morning care from 7:00am - 9:15am. Essential Job Duties: Follow Lesson Plans and implement a variety of recreational activities for assigned amp group Follow assigned duties. Coordinate with Camp Director prior to camp start as needed Understand principles, practices, and objectives of community recreation. Demonstrate ability to supervise children in recreational setting. Learn and implement necessary policies or procedures of camp. Maintain control of the group using positive discipline techniques. Communicate regularly with the camp leader regarding the camp operations and incidents. Notify Camp Leader of camp supply needs.
