Audubon is currently seeking a Foreman to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Forman – Pipefitter/Welding leads, supervises, and coordinates crews to install, maintain, and repair industrial piping systems. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required. - Identify all tools required for tasks. - Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks. - Illustrate in-depth knowledge of all pipe fitting processes. - Tactically plan operations for scheduling workloads in crews efficiently utilizing assets and resources to minimize cost. - Manage crews of 5-10 regarding processes, scheduling, costs, employee relations issues, and employment needs. - Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. - Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill. - Inspects work to ensure compliance with codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM) and enforces strict safety protocols to prevent accidents. - Orders, manages, and tracks materials, tools, and equipment needed for jobs.
