Role Summary To strengthen our Editorial team, we are looking for recent graduates who are eager to stay connected to scientific research by supporting researchers worldwide in publishing their latest results. This is a full-time, in-office, entry-level, and permanent position based in our Philadelphia office . As an Assistant Editor , you will: Support the editorial process for MDPI journal, Viruses ; Organize the peer review process for submitted manuscripts and coordinate editorial decisions; Handle email communication between authors, reviewers, editors, and internal teams; Collaborate closely with other members of the editorial and production teams; Ensure that scholarly articles are accurately edited and published according to tight deadlines with a high degree of consistency. Requirements: Education: a PhD in Virology, Immunology, Infectious Diseases , or a related field; Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals is required.
