Department: 35603 Atrium Health University City - Dialysis Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: variable, every other Saturday Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Possesses a thorough knowledge of dialysis initiation using a variety of equipment necessary for hemodialysis delivery. - Assists in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments prior, during and after hemodialysis procedure. - Monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy and report any unusual findings to nurse - Assists Registered Nurse in preparation of patient, assembly of supplies, instruments, equipment, and termination of treatment; assists with all aspects of room/bay turnover. - Performs duties according to department policy and procedure. - Attends in-services/staff meetings; exhibits knowledge of current department related issues and participates in Performance Improvement Process. - Participates in educational opportunities to increase competency and meet personal needs and goals. - Documents in the EMR within their scope of practice - Provides total patient care including, but not limited to, hygiene, toileting and nutrition w...
