Requisition Id 16253 Overview: The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) seeks a HEPA/Ventilation Inspector who will focus on HEPA filter aerosol leak testing for nuclear and non-nuclear applications, in-place Carbon Adsorber-halide leak testing, air flow inspections of industrial and laboratory local exhaust ventilation (LEV), and negative air machines. This position resides within the Systems & Process Inspections Group in the Fabrication, Instrumentation, & Inspection Division within the Facilities and Operations Directorate. The successful candidate for this position will coordinate with engineers, craft workers and other support personnel in task preparation and planning to ensure that work is conducted in a safe, secure, compliant and efficient manner. Inspectors work closely with building occupants, facility management personnel and system owners to ensure that the inspection needs of research and support organizations are met promptly and cost effectively.
