Description Position Summary: Under the supervision and direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs routine and extensive range of work in the repair and preventative maintenance of facilities, buildings, and offices. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations. Lutheran Social Service of Southern California has over 15 locations throughout Southern California. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of residential/commercial equipment, own basic tools, ability to conduct work using a laptop daily. Appearance and demeanor should be of a professional manner. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: - Work with a team and communicate through means of verbal and written communication. - Perform a variety of maintenance and repair work independently as instructed or assist other skilled trade personnel to maintain offices/facilities and grounds in proper condition. - Perform general and preventative maintenance to various equipment, materials and structures such as but not limited to: residential and commercial buildings.
