About the role Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for a Social Worker to join us in a part-time capacity ( 0.8 FTE ). Based at our Springfield campus, this is a career-defining opportunity in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. This role will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield — opening in the coming months. As Mater’s first new public hospital in over 60 years, this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. The Social Work team will support both public and private patients across the co-located Mater Hospital Springfield and Mater Private Hospital Springfield, and will service a range of specialties such as medical/surgical, ICU, maternity, paediatrics, and emergency. Salary range: $44.99 - $60.35 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
