Financial Controller

Depot Connect International is the leading independent UK service provider for tank transport & depot services. We operate over 80 modern tractor units, and employ circa 300 people within our network of eight depots. We're seeking a Financial Controller to join our team on a 12 month fixed term basis, and play a critical role in managing our Finance and Purchasing team. This role is based at our Redcar office. This is a key position within the company, where you will be ensuring compliance, accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls. Key responsibilities include: - Leading the finance and purchasing team, overseeing all accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and month end processes. - Managing budgets, forecasting and financial planning processes. - Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and tax requirements. - Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business cases. - Working with external stakeholders to make sure all external reports are filed on time.
