Storeroom Receiving Attendant

Job description

Must possess ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from vendors, regulatory agencies or other team members. Storeroom/Receiving Attendant provides excellent customer service to employees and vendors in all situations. Operate a motor vehicle to assist in the pickup, delivery, and transferring of goods to/from the warehouses. Count, sort, and weigh incoming goods to verify receipt of items against shipping notice. Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and specifications. Input stock items into computer and store in the assigned location in or around the warehouse. Physically counts inventory items to verify accuracy on a regular basis. Maintains warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion including sweeping floors, mopping coolers, and dusting shelves. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations.
