Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Industrial Maintenance Supervisor for a local client in Ward, SC. Candidates who have a background working in management role in an industrial maintenance setting are encouraged to apply. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Supervises the staff, processes and activities for maintaining all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual and efficient operation. - Ensures that periodic and preventive maintenance are accomplished according to the Maintenance Manager’s direction. - Oversees maintenance staff by observing work performance and assisting as necessary. - Monitors and continually improves maintenance processes and maintenance personnel performance to achieve enhanced levels of efficiency. - Expected to perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: - Plant maintenance staff. - Two to four-year college or university program degree in relevant Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, chemical or food processing), Industrial Management or other technical discipline required. - Critical thinking skills, problem solving, strategy development, and implementation experience required. - Experience implementing predictive/preventive main...
