Work Shift: Night - 12 Hour (United States of America)7:00pm - 7:00am (24 Weekly Hours) This position is responsible for the monitoring and assessment of patient on cardiac monitoring devices throughout the EHC organization including telemetry transmitters and hard-wired monitors. This role is trained in ECG interpretation and is responsible for continuous monitoring of all telemetry rhythms, interpreting rhythm strips, measuring specific waveform intervals, and interacting professionally with nursing staff and physicians in rhythm identification notification of deviation from baseline, as well as initiating baseline data collection of each event. Education & Training: High School diploma or GED equivalent. General knowledge of medical terminology. Completion of an approved educational diploma program in ECG/EKG, Cardiology, or Emergency Medical Services. Education/training (except for HS diploma or GED equivalent) may be waived with experience listed below. Experience: One (1) year experience as a Monitor Tech, Critical Care Tech, or Patient Care Tech in a hospital.
