Position Title Mobile Phlebotomist Days - Full Time: Indian Creek Main: Position Summary / Career Interest: The Mobile Phlebotomist drives from location to location during the shift when necessary. The person in this position must be able to plan and ensure arriving at the predetermined location at a pre-set time for blood collection on Executive Health Program clients and other patients. Most blood draws will be early morning for fasting labs, but potential exists for blood draws at different times throughout the day. This position will perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages in a safe, accurate and professional manner. The Mobile Phlebotomist uses personal vehicle, displayed with a magnetic University of Kansas Health System sign, to travel to Health System locations, and/or a patient's home or workplace to draw blood. When not specifically performing mobile phlebotomy duties the Mobile Phlebotomist will be assigned to an ambulatory area and will collect blood samples, receive and process samples and assist with other pre-analytical tasks.
