Description The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) invite applicants for a lab-based physician-scientist faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The position will be dual appointed with a primary faculty appointment in the Translational Science and Therapeutics Division (TST) of Fred Hutch and a secondary appointment in the UW Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology. Appointment to the full-time faculty at the UW would be at the rank of assistant professor without tenure due to funding. Specific rank at the UW will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34 . University of Washington assistant professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments and align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
