We have an opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join their team of staff. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. Duties of this role include: Provide dedicated secretarial support to one or more consultants, including diary management, clinic preparation, and transcription of clinical correspondence. Type letters, reports, and medical documentation from audio dictation or handwritten notes with a high level of accuracy. Prepare and distribute clinic letters and follow-up documentation promptly to GPs, patients, and referrers.
