Job Summary: Provides leadership for the HIM team at one or more sites within Adventist Health. Monitors compliance with key HIM indicators to maintain enterprise objectives. Sets and enforces policies, procedures, and guidelines ensuring timely and accurate operations. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement standards for data content, data mapping, and documentation within the organization to support quality data and accurate coding for payment purposes. Investigates issues surrounding data variability to quantify their impact and identify solutions. Monitors data and metric reports and reacts appropriately to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
