The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Gymnastics Instructor to join our team. The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will provide direct leadership, instruction and motivation for children of all ages teaching gymnastics skills and progression. You will use your passion to serve others to help serve staff, members, guests, volunteers, and programs participants in the gymnastics program. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare lesson plans with a natural progression appropriate to the age and ability of the gymnast. - Instruct gymnasts in a safe and fun manner - Outline class lesson plans to keep children moving - Enforce all safety rules and regulations in the gymnastics gym. - Finish each class with a fun group activity - Incorporate and discuss the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility Are you a good fit?: Wage: $18.00 to $18.50 p...
