Description The Department of Criminal Justice at the University of New Haven invites applications for a lecturer position (non-tenure track). In addition to teaching courses at the undergraduate level and potentially at the graduate level, the successful candidate will be actively involved with advising and mentoring students, along with developing experiential learning opportunities and partnerships in the community. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: - Minimum educational requirement is a master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or other closely related social science field. - Demonstrated commitment to experiential education, student success, and career preparation. Inter- and intra-departmental collegiality is expected. - Both practical work experience and university teaching experience are preferred. Ability to teach a variety of classes in our curriculum and incorporate service-learning into assigned classes is desired.
