Forklift Operator – Sit-Down

Description Position Summary: The Forklift Operator – Sit-Down is responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse and loading dock areas. This role ensures safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods to support daily logistics operations. What will you do: - Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between dock, staging, and storage areas - Perform daily pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition - Load and unload trailers while maintaining product integrity and proper weight distribution - Accurately scan and track inventory movements using RF scanners or manual systems - Ensure materials are properly staged and stored according to operational requirements - Follow all safety standards, operating procedures, and company policies Qualifications: - 3-5 experience operating sit-down forklifts preferred - Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification - Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Ability to obtain certification for powered industrial equipment - Experience using RF scanners...
