Description On Time Trucking, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Full-Time Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our fleet of diesel trucks, trailers and electric forklifts to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires expertise in diesel engine systems, mechanical repairs, and working with various makes and models of tractors and trailers. Experience working with electric forklifts is strongly preferred. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and mechanical components . - Perform regular preventative maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire checks. - Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. - Conduct DOT-compliant inspections to ensure all trucks meet safety and regulatory standards. - Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, fuel systems, exhaust systems, and air conditioning units. - Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed. - Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate repai...
