Reporting to the Shift Manager, the inspection operative is responsible for inspection, finishing, slitting, and rewinding & packing of all products to the required standards in keeping with specified quality expectations and the needs of our customers as per the site Product, Safety & Quality policy. Tasks: - Operation of rewind/ inspection equipment - Operation of inspection camera system - Operation of the GUK folder and associated packing - Visually inspect labels for defects - Splice rolls together using scissors and tape - Set up multiple slitter units - Slit down jobs - Pack each job as completed - Make core / shipper labels, certificates of compliance and packing lists - Set up the 100% visual inspection unit - Splice rolls together usi...
