JOB SUMMARY: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) at the University of Connecticut (UConn) seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join the Environmental Programs team. The incumbent will ensure institutional compliance with applicable federal and state environmental regulations, including those administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP), related to air emissions, regulated building materials, water and land use, and water discharges and provide guidance to project teams, facilities personnel, administrators, and academic departments to support University capital projects, operations, infrastructure, academic programs, and research activities.
