Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Shift Lead Mechanic to lead maintenance operations during an assigned shift in an injection molding manufacturing environment. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safe, efficient maintenance practices. The Shift Lead Mechanic serves as the primary maintenance contact for the shift and provides technical direction to the maintenance team. This is a Night Shift Position. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Troubleshooting: - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines (hydraulic, electric, and hybrid). - Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment including dryers, chillers, loaders, granulators, and mold temperature units. - Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs based on safety and production impact. - Diagnose complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. - Troubleshoot heaters, thermocouples, sensors, PLC-related faults (basic), hydraulic systems, and mechanical components. - Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
