Software Engineer (Back-end)

Job description

The Software Engineer is a technical contributor who designs, develops, and maintains high-quality software solutions that support business goals. They contribute to engineering standards, address complex technical challenges, and collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to build reliable and scalable applications. As the organisation undertakes a significant digital transformation programme, this role will play an important part in modernising platforms, ways of working, and technical capabilities. We’re particularly interested in hearing from engineers with back-end experience using Java. The role works in partnership with engineering managers and architects across the organisation to ensure software solutions are consistent, secure, and scalable.
