Job description
As the Refrigeration Technician, you will be a vital member at one of our Alaskan processing facilities and responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems in various settings, such as commercial buildings, industrial facilities, or residential homes. This role works independently or under minimal supervision, diagnosing and troubleshooting complex refrigeration issues. Refrigeration Technician 2s plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of refrigeration systems. Essential Functions/Qualifications: The responsibilities of the position include the following: - Oversee and manage Refrigeration, Electrical, and HVAC systems including monitoring and trending, troubleshooting and repairs (Compressors, condensers, fans, heating, cooling, contactors, motors, microprocessors, frequency drives). - Execute preventive maintenance PMs within established timelines (Oil analysis, filter changes, calibration of sensors and transducers, compressor alignment checks/adjustments. - Ensure proper leak detection system function, conduct required inspections and reporting, evaluate, and implement energy management strategies. - Ensure produ...
