The Role: Under general direction, the Creative Arts Therapist assists a specific group of individuals in enhancing their mental, emotional and physical health. They utilize various artistic techniques to improve communication, facilitate expression of feelings, enhance coordination, and boost cognitive and social abilities. They work with clients who experience emotional issues, learning difficulties and physical impairments. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village.
