Braeswood - Houston, TX 77096Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: High SchoolThe Manager On Duty (MOD) serves as the senior on-site leader during assigned evening and weekend shifts at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston. This position is responsible for facility supervision, member experience, frontline staff support, and safe building operations during hours of assignment. The MOD ensures a welcoming, safe, and well-managed environment for members, guests, and staff. Facility Oversight: Maintain a visible presence throughout all areas of the facility, including Main J facility, Aquatics, Basketball Gym, Gymnastics, Tennis Center, and Indoor Playscape. Monitor unstaffed or minimally staffed areas to ensure safety and policy compliance. Conduct routine walkthroughs and address issues proactively. Member Experience: Serve as primary point of contact for member concerns and escalated situations. Resolve conflicts professionally and in alignment with J policies.
