Description University of Oklahoma Norman Campus: Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences: Chemistry and Biochemistry The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma (OU) is excited to grow our department by adding one new tenure-track faculty position in Theoretical Physical Chemistry, available at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in August 2026 . Applicants demonstrating plans for establishing a strong research and instructional program in Theoretical Physical Chemistry are encouraged to apply. Research sub-areas of interest within Theoretical Physical Chemistry include but are not restricted to the following: Computational Chemistry, Biology and Materials; Quantum Chemistry and Spectroscopy; Statistical Mechanics in Chemistry; Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence in Chemical Sciences, as well as Quantum Computing and Quantum Information Science.
